Initial Teacher Training

We are proud to be working in partnership with London Metropolitan University offering primary teaching apprenticeships, a school-led route into teaching.

Teaching apprenticeships are a pathway into teaching that combines academic qualification with the practical skills you need to become a teacher while learning on the job in our vibrant and innovative schools.

The New Wave Federation offers trainee teachers the unique opportunity to work and learn in a range of exciting, creative and high performing primary schools. We are all passionate about growing future leaders of learning and believe that all of our routes offers an unrivalled opportunity for trainees to learn and develop in the very best schools.

Our excellent partnership with London Metropolitan means that trainee teachers will also receive high quality, practical support and training from day one.

All of our schools have a strong, proven track record of working effectively in partnership with local universities, local authorities and most importantly, each other in order to provide the very best training and development opportunities for trainees. We are highly experienced and skilled in successfully supporting and nurturing trainee teachers to achieve their full potential during their training year and we are very much looking forward to hearing from you.
